2015 Buyers – The Most Important Reason to Buy

Quality of Life Trumps Money Every Time

 

For the past several years, buyers have been conditioned to only consider price in the purchase of their home.  Media reports have focused on the drop in home prices and how important it is not to overpay.

As prices have stabilized, it’s a good time for all buyers to realize that we buy a home because of the emotional benefits of owning and the impact it has on our quality of life.  Price should always be secondary.

It’s imperative that as “trusted advisors,” we put the focus back to where it should be by asking our buyers the single-most important question you can ask:

 

“If you were to buy today, what would it mean to you?”

 

The answer to this question will be very telling. It will enable you – as their trusted advisor – to help them avoid too great an emphasis on price, at the expense of their quality of life. Use this valuable information as a reminder that buyers should buy a house for the happiness it brings, not just for the deal.
