2013 Business Management – Daily RWBs: No More Excuses

What’s the difference between people who are successful and people who have achieved great success and constantly realize their dreams? The answer is simple. People who are happy realizing their dreams hold themselves accountable for their actions, and the best way to hold yourself accountable, is to track your performanceevery single day of your life.

We call this process “daily RWBs” or Right Wrong Better. Achieving great success doesn’t require tracking every task completed during the day. It only requires tracking the top 20% activities, or the activities that are most important. Review the attachment and use it on a daily basis to recap your activities in writing each and every day. It should only take about 5 minutes to:

  1. Recap your achievements by category. In real estate, these categories include:
  • Top Priorities
  • Pending Sales Activity
  • Hot Listing Prospect Activity
  • Hot Buyer Prospect Activities
  • Prospecting Activities
  • Projects
  • Personal

 

You don’t have to have a daily entry under each category as they are only provided to stimulate thought. Don’t forget that personal activities are also very important.

If you’ve been avoiding tracking “daily RWBs”, it’s because you’re in denial. If you really want to be happy and you really want to reach your potential, it’s time to quit making excuses.
