Prospecting – Applying Black Friday to Real Estate

Black Friday is the most successful day of the year for most retailers.  It is also when many buyers are able to find the best deals on items for sale. If you’re thinking about buying a home in the near future, today may be an ideal time to make an offer. Black Friday usually marks the beginning of the Christmas Holiday Season. With everyone in a good frame of mind because of the holidays, this can be a great time to present an offer to sellers who are more open-minded because of the “holiday spirit”.

 

There are also other advantages to finding the ideal home during the holidays. Most people tend to put big decisions off until after the holidays because they are pre-occupied with all the activities, social events and responsibilities that go along with this time of the year. With little competition and low expectations on the part of home sellers, the prospects of selecting the best home and the most reasonable price, are higher now than they would be at other times.

 

Why not take advantage of the opportunities now, before sellers settle back into their normal routines. As the great Hockey Player, Wayne Gretzky stated: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”.
